Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Daily sales order listings
  2. Processing of customer and suppliers invoices at correct price and quantity
  3. Prepare and submit DC accounts on Hold register
  4. Prepare weekly POD file and prepayment listing for review
  5. Run customer statements per Pedros SOP
  6. Assist with customer and supplier queries
  7. Complete debtors & creditors function
  8. Adhoc finance admin function

Requirement:

  1. 2-3 Years experience in a similar role
  2. Sound understanding of the finance function and a hands-on approach
  3. 1-2 years experience on Sage 200 Evolution
  4. Minimum of 1 years experience in the full Debtors / Creditors functions
  5. Previous experience in the FMCG, Fast Food or Retail sectors
  6. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
  7. Strong presentation skills
  8. Must have a Diploma or equivalent qualification in finance
  9. Experience in the full MS Office Suite
  10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  11. Motivated individual who works well in a team, can work well under pressure and have a passion for accounting.
  12. Have effective time management, problem solving and decision-making abilities

 

DC Manager

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. A distribution centre manager will lead and oversee the daily operations of the distribution centre. Responsibilities include managing a team, optimizing processes, ensuring inventory accuracy, production targets are met whilst maintaining safety and efficient working conditions
  2. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the distribution centre, including goods receipt, order fulfilment, and production
  3. Lead, mentor, and manage distribution centre staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  4. Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to ensure a productive and motivated team
  5. Implement inventory control measures, including stock tracking, cycle counts, and regular reconciliation
  6. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, stock movements, and adjustments
  7. Continuously review and improve distribution centre processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet performance targets
  8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution operations
  9. Enforce quality control standards to maintain product quality and prevent damage or loss
  10. Conduct regular inspections to ensure products are stored safely and securely
  11. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote a safe working environment, and respond to safety concerns or incidents
  12. Conduct safety training and ensure staff follow safety procedures

  16. Generate reports and provide data analysis to support management decisions

REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Matric
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (a degree is supply chain management or logistics – advantageous)
  3. Proven experience in distribution center or warehouse management or a supervisory role

Operations Supervisor

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. The Operations Supervisor at the Distribution Centre is responsible for supervising daily distribution operations, ensuring efficient logistics, inventory management, staff supervision, and adherence to health and safety regulations. This role focuses on the timely distribution of poultry products while maintaining high-quality standards and customer service

Operational Supervision:

  1. Supervise daily operations of the poultry distribution centre, ensuring smooth and effective processes
  2. Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to support operational improvements

Staff Supervision:

  1. Assist in recruiting, training, and managing warehouse workers and administrative personnel
  2. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development
  3. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Logistics Coordination:

  1. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of poultry products
  2. Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and other stakeholders to optimize logistics operations
  3. Support the development and maintenance of efficient routing and delivery schedules

Inventory Management:

  1. Supervise inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products
  2. Assist in implementing and maintaining inventory management systems to track stock levels and minimize waste
  3. Conduct regular inventory audits and promptly address any discrepancies

Quality Control and Compliance:

  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
  2. Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain the integrity of food products
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the distribution centre

Customer Service:

  1. Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  2. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to understand and meet customer needs
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients

Financial Management Support:

  1. Assist in preparing and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  2. Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  3. Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing processes

REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. A relevant qualification
  2. Must have a matric certification
  3. A valid C1 driver’s license – Advantageous
  4. Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food distribution industry
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills
  6. Customer service and admin experience
  7. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  8. Proficiency in MS Office
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Fleet Maintenance Officer

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. To attend to Mechanical and Technical aspects of Group Fleet
  2. Ensure Optimal Mechanical Attention
  3. Ensure Cost related efficiencies
  4. Ensure All repairs are carried out to the expected standard – Groupwide
  5. Ensure Fleet is always in a Good Mechanical Condition – Groupwide
  6. Ensure all R&M costs with Service Providers are kept in line
  7. Perform Fleet Inspections – Groupwide
  8. Ensure Service Provider Efficiency

REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Matric
  2. Must be able to travel nationally
  3. Motor Repair Qualification (Diesel Trade Qualification Pref.) – advantageous
  4. Code 14 license – advantageous
  5. Microsoft Office
  6. Administration experience
  7. Fridge R&M Knowledge – advantageous
  8. Tail lift R&M Knowledge – advantageous
  9. Driver Training Experience- advantageous

 

Driver X3

Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for the delivery of goods safely from one destination to another, within the required time frame.
  2. Comply with the times and procedures, regulations, and correct use of resources.
  3. Responsible for the vehicle – safe handling/operating of the vehicle.
  4. Day-to-day inspection of the vehicle and reporting of all faults and serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
  5. Completing vehicle inspection sheets and refueling of vehicles.
  6. Checking the truck list and following the route to the destination.
  7. Checking the truck and load before going out on the road.
  8. Ensuring safety regulations are being adhered to whilst driving.
  9. Ensure adherence to the Road Traffic Act and ensure the safety of other road users.
  10. Abide by the regulations as set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  11. Abide by the company policies and the regulations of the road.
  12. Ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly as well as checking documentation against the loads.
  13. Ensure the correct quantities and loads are delivered.
  14. Ensure all proof of deliveries gets signed on delivery.
  15. Loading and off-loading of products including pallets.
  16. Return of returned products, empty containers (lugs), and undelivered invoices.
  17. Comply with 5S standards to ensure cleanliness, safety, and an orderly workplace.
  18. Report to work with all applicable PPE.
  19. Communicate daily activities on the provided system.
  20. Complete the required documents accurately.REQUIREMENTS:
    1. Must have 5 years of experience within the industry working as a Driver.
    2. Must have a valid code 14 driver’s license.
    3. A valid PDP is required.
    4. An RSA ID is required.
    5. Must have completed Matric.
    6. Must be comfortable with working day or night shifts.
    7. Must be flexible, punctual, and reliable.
    8. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
