Monitoring and Evaluation Officers X2

The Successful Candidate will be responsible to independently conduct the entire process of strategic monitoring and evaluations activities in order to measure the outputs and outcomes of the Strategic Plan of the HWSETA.

Minimum Qualification:  Master’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation (NQF9) Or
Master’s degree in social sciences (NQF9), plus a Post-Graduate Diploma in M&E (NQF8)  

Minimum Experience: 

  1. 3 years research experience of which 2 must be in Monitoring & Evaluation
  2. A track record of good quality research

Duties:

  1. Contribute toward divisional planning.
  2. Independently conduct Monitoring and Evaluation studies of HWSETA to measure outputs and outcome of the strategic plan of the HWSETA
  3. Adheres to quality assurance practices and policies and procedures within the Monitoring and Evaluation sub-division.
  4. Compile monitoring and evaluation reports
  5. Stakeholder engagement

Key Research Skills:

  • Proficiency in conducting the entire monitoring and evaluation process independently, requiring minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency in developing and applying monitoring and evaluation frameworks
  • Proficiency in utilising both Quantitative and Qualitative methods as mixed methods for data analytics (process of collection, transformation, and organization of data in order to draw conclusions, make predictions, and drive informed decision making).
  • Mastery of quantitative skills as an advantage
  • Proficiency in big data analysis (process of extracting meaning from data) utilizing Microsoft Excel and at least two statistical analysis software).
  • Proficiency in big data analytics (The process of uncovering trends, patterns, and correlation in large amounts of raw data to help make data-informed decision making) utilising statistical analysis techniques—like clustering and regression—and applying them to more extensive datasets.
  • Proficiency in the conceptualization of monitoring and evaluation study
  • Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation report writing, presentation skills to facilitate usability of monitoring and evaluation findings.The HWSETA is an AA/EE employer and reserves the right not to fill any advertised positions.

    General Assistant

    he Successful Candidate will be responsible providing interior office building maintenance and repairs by monitoring and inspecting the office building and performing or requesting basic repairs.  Assists with Registry Administrator and Driver duties as and when required.   

    Minimum Qualification: 

    • Matric/Grade12
    • Trade associated diploma
    • Health and safety course
    • 1-3 years’ related Maintenance experience.

    Duties:

    • Responsible for general / basic repairs and maintenance.
    • Provide support to Registry Administrator as and when necessary.
    • Provide support to Driver as and when necessary.
    • Asset Monitoring.

    Cost to Company per annum: Salary Range:  R197 723 per annum

    Provincial Receptionist Western Cape

    A Provincial Receptionist will be expected to provide administrative assistance in the Provincial Office. Assist and coordinate customer care with external stakeholders.

    Minimum Educational requirements:
     Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration/ Technology, Public Management or an equivalent qualification. 2 – 3 years’ work experience at Reception and related field.

    Cost to company: R135 378 – R210 329,00 per annum
