PURPOSE
Make sure to get the optimum use of our vehicles, trucks and lowbed’s.
Bring down the running cost and make users responsible and accountable for any abuse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Increase Availability & Decrease Costs
Make sure that the fleet is kept to Fraser Alexander’s acceptable standard.
Monitor/analyse maintenance and fuel costs and present data on a weekly and monthly basis.
Monitoring and managing vehicle tracking.
Systems and generate detailed reports.
Managing – including collections and dealing with infringements (acknowledgment of debt and ITI’s)
Approve maintenance cost with external service providers, including maintenance records and oversee maintenance cost.
Recording keeping of km’s travelled and the costing thereof.
Ensure that all licenses for drivers of trucks etc are valid.
Apply for permits/upkeep thereof for the Lowbed’s.
Arrange for deliveries to and from site using trucks and Lowbed’s and ensure the cost allocation thereof.
Monitor and ensure fleet operation is in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.
Ensuring that all training needs are met for truck and Lowbed drivers.
Ensure that all vehicle licenses are up to date and apply for fuel cards when required.
Manage First Auto Fuel and Fleet Maintenance cards.
Monitor Speeding of LDV`S on the Tracking systems.
Manage Availability and Utilisation of LDV`S fleet.
Supply missing revenue report monthly on LDV`s.
Carry out Fleet analyse on different make of brands with OEM`S.
QUALIFICATION
Machine/Mechanical Trade Test
EXPERIENCE
5-8 years as Machine Minder or in Mechanical field
Previous work experience in Plant environment
Fleet Management Experience/Plant administration experience
